Cathy Penner
Cathy has been with Island Title since its grand opening in March of 1998. She moved to Brevard county from Boston, Massachusetts in 1963, and graduated from Titusville high school in 1975. She has been married to her husband, Larry, since 1998. They have a French bulldog named Raisin Cain and a rescue cat named Murphy.

Cathy has been in the title insurance industry in Brevard County since 1978. She has seen the industry change and evolve over time, but says one thing that never changes is the delight you see on the faces of first time home buyers as you hand them the keys to their new home. Cathy always strives to make the closing an enjoyable and fun experience.

When she’s not in the closing room, Cathy enjoys traveling to North Carolina to spend time at the lake with her twin sister, Dorothy, younger sister, Margey, and friends.

Sandra Tucci
Sandra has been with Island Title since June of 1999. Her hometown is Jacksonville, Texas, and she attended Jacksonville Baptist College and Panola Community College before moving to Florida in the Summer of 1997. Sandra received her Title Agent License in November of 2017.

Sandra’s hobbies include boating, fishing, spending time with friends and family, riding her motorcycle, and Jeeping around. Sandra’s professional goal is to continue to learn to be the best she can for our clients and customers. She enjoys being a part of the end result and a buyer’s joy of purchasing their new home, whether it be a first time home buyer or investor. Getting to know her clients and being a part of their story is her biggest reward.

Katie Giering
Island Title welcomed Katie to the team in July of 2001. She was born and raised in Brooklyn Ohio, and moved to Florida in 1978. Her hobbies include cooking, painting, and sewing. Katie worked in the finance and mortgage business for 28 years before transitioning into the field of title insurance.

When asked what her favorite part about working at Island Title is, Katie says “there is nothing like helping people achieve their dreams of owning a home. The process is not always easy, but the end result, handing over the key, is pure joy”.

Sarah Thomas
Sarah has been with Island Title since February of 2014. She moved to Florida in 2003 from her hometown in Warrenton, Virginia, which is right outside of Washington DC. Sarah and her husband Mike have 3 children, and she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, beach days, reading a good book, and watching football and soccer (go Gators!). Sarah’s favorite part about working at Island Title is that she truly enjoys meeting new people and being a part of the excitement of their purchase or sale. Working with first time homebuyers is always exciting!

Kelsey Mahnke Fajardo
Kelsey has been with Island Title since September of 2019. Kelsey was born in Mission Viejo, California, and raised in Merritt Island, Florida. She has a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, and a Master of Arts in Applied Learning and Instruction, both from the University of Central Florida.

Kelsey and her husband Alexis have two fur-children: a Goldendoodle named Cooper and a rescue cat named Frankie. She enjoys anything to do with fitness: CrossFit, Olympic Weightlifting, running, and paddle boarding.

Her favorite parts about working at Island Title are meeting new people and playing a role in such an exciting time for new buyers and sellers.
